From Diesel Fitter to Unemployed
I started my career as a Diesel Fitter, on the tools in mining before moving interstate to pursue a career in rugby league and working in heavy transport, construction, rental and quarries - still swing spanners.
Just as things were falling into place, life took a bitter turn. I had a workplace accident that resulting in me losing my leg.
I didn’t just lose a limb — I lost the ability to do my trade, my income and my sporting future. Everything changed
From Unemployed to Maintenance Leader
Being injured and unemployed, learning was my way forward again so I studied Business. But this was only the start of what was to come:
